Jordan

I love this last painting I did of Jordan. I think its cool and fun.
Jordan is the younger sister of Jaime, in this painting.

Kathleen

I gave her the outfit, posed her, and snapped the shot. She was beautiful to start with...

This is one of my favorite paintings. This is the first one to start the chain of events in this blog.

Jaime

I was playing around with photo shop and came up with some funky, abstract-like designs for this painting. I created this one design and had a vision of a big beautiful vibrant painting on a white wall, as if in a gallery showing. The current picture I have of the painting, does not do it justice especially since it was taken by a phone camera. However, I will repost all these paintings when I get a good camera.

Child's Bedroom

If I could have done more, I would've redesigned the walls and framed everything, washed the marker off, and patched holes. But they let their kids draw on the walls so I didn't bother.
Before:

 corner with mobile.
wall 3 with bed against it
 corner 3/bookshelf
 wall 4
wall 1. small white shelves with door. was used for clothes.
 closet.
After:
organized clothes in closet organizer! thank God that was there!
put extra books on top... kids shouldnt have that many books out at one time.  too overwhelming.
 corner 1
moved bed. corner with mobile now has small shelves with door as a bedside table.  I put his quiet toys and books next to each other because they are in reach from the bed.

I put all the legos in a "toy area" straight ahead from the door to separate the private, quiet area from the playing area. Also, I set it up so that when his friends come over, they go straight to the toys and avoid touching his bed. I find the bed to be private and not a place to have anyone else sit and play.
this is the view from the bed. he can look at his "masterpieces" and feel a sense of accomplishment and confidence as he relaxes.

I moved the dresser to this wall by the closet so all the clothes are on that side of the room. Everything has its own section.

Bedroom

Another beautiful room but too much stuff and nothing is organized... until i took over.

cant find clothes in a hutch... what is in there?

something to put the random stuff on I guess...
 a pile...
 up! another pile...
 the piles get bigger....

I started to clean up the stuff and then I knew I'd have to tackle the closets in order to do this... take a look

started with casual house clothes in the hutch...
angled it and put a lamp to balance the room and round the corners...
business suits straight ahead on the bottom
dressy clothes above the suits on top, purses on top shelves
skirts and bottoms on the bottom
tops on the top with matching current season purses on top
reorganized all the drawers and jewelry
the step stool had a place!
scroll back up to see what this seat looked like before

nice room right?
