Child's Bedroom

If I could have done more, I would've redesigned the walls and framed everything, washed the marker off, and patched holes. But they let their kids draw on the walls so I didn't bother.
Before:

 corner with mobile.
wall 3 with bed against it
 corner 3/bookshelf
 wall 4
wall 1. small white shelves with door. was used for clothes.
 closet.
After:
organized clothes in closet organizer! thank God that was there!
put extra books on top... kids shouldnt have that many books out at one time.  too overwhelming.
 corner 1
moved bed. corner with mobile now has small shelves with door as a bedside table.  I put his quiet toys and books next to each other because they are in reach from the bed.

I put all the legos in a "toy area" straight ahead from the door to separate the private, quiet area from the playing area. Also, I set it up so that when his friends come over, they go straight to the toys and avoid touching his bed. I find the bed to be private and not a place to have anyone else sit and play.
this is the view from the bed. he can look at his "masterpieces" and feel a sense of accomplishment and confidence as he relaxes.

I moved the dresser to this wall by the closet so all the clothes are on that side of the room. Everything has its own section.
